Rit DyeMore is a synthetic dye that will colour 100% Synthetic Fabrics (Polyester, Nylon, Acetate, Acrylic and polyester/cotton blends). MUST be used in pot/stove as very hot water (180°F/82°C or above) is needed to activate the dye. NOT for washing machines.

Materials such as in safety vests and workwear are often treated with special coatings, reflective finishes, or colourfast dyes that resist absorption. This will not be effective for such materials. As with all dye products, test before full application.
